While the themes are deeply introspective, the language remains approachable, allowing readers to connect with the couplets on a personal level. Hasan’s writing is a reminder that poetry need not be complicated to be profound—it is the simplicity of his words that gives them their power.
I am really fond of reading poetry and I was reading a poetry book in Hindi after a very long time so I was a bit hesitant before starting this book but once I started it was very difficult for me to keep the book down, the way author has written this book it’s remarkable. He did not try to make the book very complicated which many authors do nowadays to make the book seem deep. This is a book that will stay with you long after you’ve turned the last page, a quiet companion on rainy days and a source of reflection in quieter moments. Meraj Hasan ‘Meem’ has crafted a work of poetic beauty that speaks to the heart, reminding us all of the power of words to evoke emotion, stir memories, and connect us with our shared humanity.
