Oneira : The Journey

The word Oneira itself was very fascinating for me and it intrigued to me read the book as I heard this word for the very first time. The cover of this book is very creative and it describes the book accurately. This is a thought provoking read. At certain points in the book you will have to keep the book down and process the real meaning of the author. Your cognition will be very much changed after reading this book and it will help you very much in the future. Author takes readers on a captivating adventure through the tumultuous train ride of Jai. As he navigates the journey, an enigmatic sadhu introduces an unconventional companionship, promising solace and redemption. I really like the way Sadhu’s character was written. Arora skillfully weaves a narrative where the line between reality and illusion blurs, creating a mysterious and thought-provoking atmosphere. The book’s exploration of existential themes and the interplay of reality and perception adds a layer of depth to this engaging tale. The best part about the book is it is very much relatable to a person’s life. At some points Jai’s character was so much relatable the way he cares for his family and his struggles with his corporate life. Author’s writing style is brilliant i was hooked to the book till the end. Language used in the book was lucid. Book is of only 278 pages I finished this book in two sittings. This is a must read, it is very difficult to find these kind of books.
