Castle Rock High

This is the second book of the series Generation Z. After reading the first book of this series I became a huge fan of author’s writing style and got really excited to read this book and I can tell you that this book is worth the excitement and wait. Author has written all the characters in such a descriptive way that it is very easy to imagine the book and connect with the emotions of the characters. I really liked that author has shown the courage to write on a such a sensitive topic with so much perfection, without hurting anyone’s and also even opened everyone’s perspective.
I really like that author has kept the book very much related to the real life and has addressed the common problems faced by the youngsters today, so they can easily relate with this book. Many adults usually don’t consider the problem of teenage children to be actual problems but author has shown that everyone are fighting their own demons. Oliver's journey from a children's home to his adoptive parent's home and eventual enrollment at Castle Rock High School, this is the time when children find about themselves, change their personalities and forge new connections. Seth a guy who only likes music and sports falls for a girl named Ashley who is a transitioning women she herself is facing many problems, like bullying and Seth helps her and supports her all the time. The formation of a band and the inclusion of music as an integral part of the characters' lives makes the book more relatable as everyone going through their bad phase uses music as a escape from world wide and this is a phenomenon which is followed worldwide.

Overall this is a perfect book to read. The plot is really interesting and unique. The language used in the book is lucid but it will definitely teach you some new words.
